WHITEHACK’s Adrian Wood talks to ABC about the Information Security Skills shortage in Australia

More young Australians need to be encouraged to consider a career in cyber-security to help build a “human firewall” against online attacks, according to the Federal Government’s eSafety Commissioner for Children.

Alastair MacGibbon has endorsed the findings of a United States study that found Australia is lagging behind other nations in building the next generation of cyber-security workers.

On ABC State Wide Drive Kelly Fuller spoke to Armidale based WhiteHacker Adrian Wood about the idea. He says more young people will need to be encourage to consider a career in internet security and thinks they definitely need to come up with a new title:
